校园安全 Campus Security

Security issue may sound clichéd but when it comes to the campus security we have to take it seriously. Nearly every day there are reports to the security office on campus that valuable things are stolen away. A surrounding with stealing and mugging can’t be worse for studying. In such cases what measures should be taken to improve the campus security?

安全问题可能听起来已经陈词滥调了，但是当涉及到安全问题的时候，我们不得不严肃对待。几乎每天校园里都有向保安处报告说贵重物品被偷。偷窃和抢劫的环境对学习来说再糟糕不过了。在这种情况下我们应该采取什么样的措施来提高校园安全呢？

On one hand we students should strengthen our security awareness. Once we smell out something unusual we should report it to the campus guard immediately. On the other hand more equipment such as monitors should be installed on campus so as to detect crimes as soon as possible. Besides a proper amount of security guards should be arranged to patrol the campus.

一方面，我们学生呢个应该加强我们的安全意识。一旦我们察觉到什么异常，我们就应该立刻向学校保安处报告。另一方面，应该安装个多诸如监视器之类的设备以尽快查出罪犯。此外，应安排适量的保安人员巡逻校园。

In my opinion campus security will be improved as long as efforts are made on campus. Therefore colleges and universities should try their best to make everyone on campus safe and sound。

在我看来，只要努力了，校园安全就会得到改善。因此，高校应该尽最大努力保证在校的每个人的安全和健康。

保护自己Protect Ourselves

Recently it has been reported that a college student went to Guangzhou for travel but she missed finally the policeman found her body. It is so terrible this incident warns people to protect themselves especially for the girls. First we’d better travel with friends. Traveling alone is very popular among the young people because they are independent and chase for freedom so they like to go without friends. Then they are easily becoming the gangster’s targets. Therefore having someone accompany not only can share the opinion but also can be safe. Second it is better not to go to the place which is dark and less people. The bad guys like to choose this place because they will not be noticed and are easy to do the criminal things. We need to learn to protect ourselves life is precious.

最近，新闻报道说一名大学生去广州旅游，但是失踪了，最后，警察发现了她的尸体。这是多么可怕埃这样的事故警告人们要保护自己，特别是女孩子。第一，我们最好和朋友旅行。独自旅行在年轻人当中很流行，因为他们独立，追求自由，因此他们不喜欢和朋友走。这样他们很容易成为歹徒的目标。因此，有人陪伴不仅能彼此交流，还能变得安全。第二，最好不要去黑暗和人少的地方。坏人喜欢选择这样的地方，因为没有什么人会注意到他们，方便他们犯罪。我们需要保护自己，生命是很可贵的。

安全问题之我见 My View on Safety Problems

This picture tells us the attitude of some people towards safety problems. Since they have the one-sided view towards the safety problems they ignore these problems in our real life. They are just like the blind men in the story of "The Blind Men and the Elephant." In fact safety problems are everywhere around us.

这幅图告诉我们人们对安全问题的态度。由于他们对安全问题持有片面的观点，他们容易忽视现实生活中的这些问题。他们就像“瞎子和大象”的故事里的瞎子一样。事实上，安全问题无处不在。

So the picture shows some people are much worried about their safety problems. But they do not think about the problems in a wise way. They do not want to work out some effective ways to solve these problems. They just only care about their own problems blindly. But in fact what they are doing is very dangerous to their safety because as the picture tells us coconuts on the coconut tree may fall down anytime and hurt them.

因此，图片显示一些人非常担心他们的安全问题。但是他们没有用明智的方式思考问题。他们不喜欢找出一些有效的方法来解决这些问题。他们只是盲目地关心自己的问题。但是，实际上，他们所做的对他们的安全很危险，因为，正如图片告诉我们的，椰子树上的椰子随时都可能掉下来伤了他们自己。

In my opinion they are very near-sighted and their behavior is foolish. We should take everything into account when we are thinking and doing. We should learn how to analyze the concrete problems in a concrete way. At the same time we should do something to make our environment safe. When something bad happens we should take some effective measures to reduce the harm or damage to the minimum. Also we should launch some campaigns to raise people"s awareness to safety. We should make some laws to protect people and their property from the harm and loss.

在我看来，他们目光短浅行为愚蠢。当思考和行动的时候，我们应该把一切都考虑进去。我们应该学会如何做到具体问题具体分析。同时，我们应该做些事情使我们的环境安全。当发生不好的事情的时候，我们应该采取有效的措施把伤害或者损失降到最校我们还应该发起一些运动以提高人们的安全意识。我们应该制定一些法律来保护人们及其财产不受伤害和损失。

不要和陌生人说话 Don’t Talk to Strangers

Before we go to school we get our parents to supervise us all the time so we live in a very safe environment. While when we go to school parents can’t keep their eyes on us all the time they are so worried about us so they begin to tell us how to keep ourselves safe. The most important thing is that don’t talk to strangers as a teenager we haven’t had the ability to judge who is the good guy and who is the bad guy so it is better not to talk to the strangers. The bad guys will like to talk to the teenagers they want to do something to pay the teenagers’ attention thus they can induce the children to go with them and do the bad thing. In order to protect teenagers’ security teenagers are taught to keep distant from the stranger.

在我们上学前，我们一直有父母的照看，所以我们生长在一个很安全的环境。然而当我们上学以后，父母不能一直监视着我们，他们很担心我们，因此他们开始教导我们如何保持自身的安全。最重要的事情就是不要和陌生人说话，作为一名青少年，我们还没有能力去判断好人和坏人，所以最好不要和陌生人讲话。坏人会喜欢和青少年聊天，他们想要做一些事情来吸引青少年的注意，以此来引诱青少年跟他们走，做坏事。为了保护青少年的安全，青少年应该和陌生人保持距离。

保护儿童不受侵害 Protecting the Children From Harassing

Nowadays when people talk about the principle they are no longer showing respect because many cases about the kids getting harassed by the principles were being exposed. Since then the word “principle” is the speaking for monsters. Teenagers being harassed has become a hot issue people call on the government to take some action to protect the teenagers. In my opinion protecting the children are both parents and the society’s duty. Parents should teach their children to have the consciousness of security like never getting alone with the strangers or the principles when the principles ask the children to go to their home children should reject. The society should supervise the principles though they are in high position what they do should be open to the public. Children are immature they need the society’s protection the harassing behavior shouldbe heavily punished by the law.

现在，当人们谈到校长的时候，他们不再带着敬意，因为很多关于儿童受到侵害的案子得到了曝光。从此以后，“校长”这个词成为了魔鬼的代名词。青少年受到侵害事件已经成为了一个热门话题，人们呼唤政府采取些措施来保护青少年。在我看来，保护孩子是家长和适合的共同责任。家长应该教会孩子有安全的意识，比如不要和陌生人活着校长单独相处，当校长邀请学生去家里时候，孩子要拒绝。社会应该监督校长，虽然校长处于高职位，但是他们的所作所为应该对大众公开。孩子还处在未成熟时候，他们需要社会的保护，侵犯行为应该受到法律的严厉制裁。
